Our Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you must have the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian to use our Service.
Parents and guardians who create accounts to generate content for children under 13 are responsible for monitoring and supervising their child's use of any materials created through our Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.
You pay once, per book. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
You can build a book and read its opening pages free, with no card, before you decide to buy. Every art style is open to every account.
Every book is written and illustrated to order for the people in it, so purchases are not refundable. What we do instead is make it right: if something is wrong with your book, open a request on your support page and we will redraw and rewrite it with you. Where a page is genuinely wrong — a likeness that has drifted, words that do not match what you approved, or any mistake of ours — we fix it for as long as it takes, at no charge and without counting it against you. Every purchased book also includes a generous allowance for changes of mind, and we will usually extend that allowance rather than leave you with a book you are not happy with.
Working with you, within reason. Redraws and rewrites are offered in good faith to get your book right; they are not an unlimited entitlement. We may decline to provide further redraws, rewrites or other changes where we reasonably believe the Service is being used abusively or in bad faith — for example, repeated requests that are not aimed at correcting a genuine problem, a volume of requests well beyond what finishing the book requires, requests made to cause disruption, or requests made after a payment dispute has been raised against us. Whether use is abusive is a judgement we make at our sole discretion. This never affects our commitment to correct our own mistakes, and it does not affect any rights you have under laws that apply to you.
Nothing is sent to the printer until you have approved every page, and once a print order has been submitted it cannot be cancelled, because it is manufactured to order. Printed books that arrive damaged, misprinted or materially different from the pages you approved are reprinted at no charge.
Damaged, misprinted or incomplete printed copies. If your printed book arrives damaged, misprinted, with pages missing or out of order, or materially different from the pages you approved, tell us within 30 days of delivery by opening a request on your support page, and email clear photos of the copy you received to help@lovetoread.ai (photos cannot be attached on the support page). Please photograph the front cover, the pages that show the problem and, for missing or out-of-order pages, the first and last pages inside the covers. Our print partner requires these photos before it will manufacture a replacement, so we cannot request one without them. Once we have reviewed them, we will have a corrected copy printed and shipped to you at no charge. A corrected copy is the remedy for a printing or delivery fault; it does not make the purchase refundable.
Before you dispute a charge. Please contact us through your support page before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We answer every request and will make a genuine printing problem right. If a dispute is raised, we will provide the card issuer with our records of your order, the pages you approved, and our correspondence with you, including any photos we requested and whether they were provided.
We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. A price change never affects a book you have already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes through the Service or via email.
Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized storybooks based on your input. While we strive to create high-quality, age-appropriate content:
Our AI is trained to generate age-appropriate content and includes safety filters to prevent inappropriate material. However, we cannot guarantee that all generated content will be completely free from unexpected or undesired elements. Parents, guardians, and educators should review generated content before sharing it with children.
To protect our users and our platform, all images you upload to the Service (including character reference photos and object reference photos) are automatically scanned by third-party content-safety tools at the time of upload and again at the time of processing. Uploads identified as containing adult content, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or other prohibited content will be rejected, and repeated or egregious violations may result in account suspension or termination. We may also use automated detection tools to identify known child sexual abuse material (CSAM); any such content will be preserved as required by law and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
Every purchased book includes a generous allowance for changing it after you buy: you can redraw any illustration and rewrite any line. The allowance is per book, and it is the same whichever edition you bought — The Storybook and The Keepsake Hardcover carry the same allowance, and neither carries unlimited redraws.
Anything genuinely wrong with a book — a likeness that has drifted, words that do not match what you approved, or any mistake of ours — is put right without counting against that allowance, for as long as it takes. The allowance itself is for changes of mind. It is set so that ordinary use never reaches it, and if you do reach it we will usually add more; that is at our discretion and subject to 3.3.
All content included in the Service, including but not limited to the website design, graphics, logos, software, and the Service itself, is the property of LoveToRead.AI or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our Service without our express written permission.
This is important: Your rights to use, distribute, and sell a story depend on whether it is an unpurchased free preview or a book you have bought.
If you have only generated a free preview and have not purchased the book:
When you purchase a book, you receive full commercial rights to it.

No additional licenses or fees are required. Once you purchase a book it is yours to use however you wish, including for commercial sale and distribution.
By submitting content to our Service (such as story prompts, character descriptions, photos, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will never sell your personal story ideas, prompts, or uploaded photos to third parties, and we do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models.
If you upload a photo to the Service (for example, to create a character reference or object reference), you represent and warrant that:

Zero-tolerance policy regarding child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Uploading, transmitting, attempting to generate, or otherwise distributing child sexual abuse material through the Service is strictly prohibited. Any such activity will result in the immediate termination of your account, preservation of all relevant evidence as required by law, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this Acceptable Use Policy, including cooperating with law enforcement and disclosing relevant account and content information where legally required.
