LoveToRead started with children's books and a simple observation: the books people ask for again and again are the ones with them in it. It turned out grown-ups feel exactly the same way. Not a name dropped into a template, but a story that knows their dog, their sister, and the boat they keep meaning to fix.
What we actually do
You tell us who the book is for and what they love, and you add a photo. We write a brand-new story around them, whether they are two or ninety-two, illustrate every page with a character that looks like them, and put your dedication on the first page. The digital book is ready in minutes; the keepsake hardcover is printed to order and mailed in about ten days.
Every book is reviewed by the person who ordered it before it prints. Pages can be redrawn, text can be changed, and nothing goes to the printer until it is right.
We also keep a free library of stories anyone can read online, and a classroom version for teachers. That is where LoveToRead began, and it is still here.

Your photos stay yours
They are used to draw your book and nothing else. Delete a character and its photo goes with it.
