When is the last day to order a Christmas book?
Order the hardcover by 10 December and it prints and ships within 7–12 business days for delivery before Christmas. Miss that date and you still have two options: the digital edition, which you can read tonight on a phone or tablet, and the e-gift, which lets the recipient build the book after the holiday.
How does the e-gift work?
You pay, and we give you a one-time code to send however you like: a text, an email, a card in the stocking. The recipient redeems it, uploads the photo, chooses the story and the style, and orders the print if they want it. It is the answer for nieces, grandchildren and friends' kids when you do not have a good photo on hand.
Can the whole family be in the story?
Up to three people or pets can appear in one book, so two kids and Grandpa, or one child, Mom and the dog. Each is drawn from a photo and stays recognizable page to page. For bigger families, a book per child works well, each with their own cover and the siblings appearing as supporting characters.
Is it a Christmas book or a winter book?
Your call. The story is written fresh, so it can be Christmas Eve at your house, a Hanukkah night, a snowy week off school or a warm-weather holiday with sand instead of snow. Tell us which and we write to it. Families who celebrate differently from the storybook default appreciate that it is not a template.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. Shipping is free anywhere in the United States, and we also print and ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Books for those countries are printed in the same region, so they do not travel far; the exact shipping cost is quoted on the order page before you pay.
